It was a big improvement on the likes of " Hermatite " and "Stag ".Ībout the time it first came out the company I worked for installed a brand new " Asquith- Archdale " Powerthrust 6 ft radial arm drill made in Halifax, West Yorkshire. It's big advantage was that it remained plastic and was easily removed if required.
It came in a tooth paste like tube and was blue in colour. " Hylomar" came along in the 1970's and was advertised as being developed in partnership with " Rolls- Royce ", we used to call it " Rolls - Royce " blue.
